Since March 2007, coinciding with Theatre Day, La Fábrica in collaboration with the Community of Madrid celebrates La Noche de los Teatros (Theatre Night), a quality programme designed to occupy the street and the city’s cultural spaces with all types of performing arts for one night.

The last Theatre Night, held on March 27th 2010, united artists and public from 5.00 pm to midnight in 78 theatres and alternative spaces, 24 music venues belonging to La Noche en Vivo association, flamenco spots and street shows. A total of 132 spaces and 170 activities. An evening that turns Madrid into a large theatrical stage.

Adolfo Marsillach, La Zaranda, Calixto Bieito, Juan Mayorga, Losdedae, Eva Yerbabuena, Albert Boadella, Itziar Pascual, José Ramón Fernández, Pedro Víllora and Ignacio García May were some of the many figures who have joined the celebration on these nights.

Performances, dance, lectures, café theatres, circus, improvisations and Internet activities conquer the city and echo Madrid’s great theatre party.
